Size Guide

Bed frames are always larger than the mattress they hold. Use the mattress size to pick your option, then check that frame's own outer dimensions on its product page before you measure the room.

How to measure your room

• Measure the wall the headboard will sit against, and the clear floor depth in front of it.
• Allow roughly 24" of walking space on any side you need to get past.
• Check the doorway, stairwell and any tight corners — frames ship flat-packed, so box size matters more than assembled size.
• Note the under-bed clearance if you plan to store bins beneath the frame.

What each product page tells you

• Fits mattress — the mattress size and dimensions the frame is built for.
• Outer dimensions — the frame's own width, length and height, per size.
• Headboard height — floor to the top of the headboard.
• Under-bed clearance — floor to the underside of the frame.
• Box spring — whether one is required.
